I am a mom of two, two years age difference (almost to the day). While I love a good day at home in my jammies my kids do not. They are (for the most part) extroverts who thrive having new experiences.

And so, I too grew to appreciate new experiences and being out and about. Not having grown up in Connecticut it took research and effort to find new experiences in the fairly rural Northern Fairfield County area. Once I started finding children’s activities and kids events I realized how many are poorly attended. I would tell mom/dad friends and learn that hadn’t heard of the rich experiences our towns offer. My kids and I were guinea pigs trying out new businesses for the sake of research. And thus came about Your Fun Scout!

It’s my goal to make making memories with your kids more attainable. The more options you have, the more likely you are to have one fit into your schedule, agree with your wallet and interest your children.
